City of Toronto Issues Building Permit for Store

The City of Toronto issued a Building Permit for a 5,813 sf. Store Addition, to be built on top of an existing garage. Store is an addition to an existing 24-storey Apartment Building.

Diversicare Tower reaches 7th. Floor

Duca Financial Services and DCMs (Diversicare) are in full co-ordination mode to integrate Phase 1 (Duca Financial Institution) and Phase 2 (Retirement Tower), as it will become one building under the Building Code. Architect of record for DCMS is Arsenault Architect. Hendrik Op 't Root Architect is the co-ordinator on behalf of Duca, co-ordinated the rezoning and site plan applications, and provided design input in Phase 2.

Diversicare Retirement Tower Update (Phase 2)

Fram Group Construction has commenced the formwork and concrete pouring of the Ground Floor columns and walls. The Parking Ramp is in place. Duca will obtain 5 covered surface parking spaces,west of the ramp access. Arsenault Architect Inc.is the Architect of Record.

Rendering of Phase 2 Retirement Tower by Diversicare (DCMS) by Hendrik op 't Root Architect Ltd.

The renderings of the Phase 2 Retirement Tower by Diversicare (DCMS) were prepared by Hendrik op 't Root Architect Ltd. The Architect of Record is Arsenault Architect Inc. Hendrik op 't Root Architect Ltd was instrumental in obtaining the re-zoning, site plan agreement, and severence approvals, as well as providing design input. The existing Duca building and the retirement tower will share similar finishes. The south elevation at Ellerslie Avenue will be further enhanced with dramatic two storey arches.

Preliminary design feasibility studies are in progress to add a 360 person banquet hall to renowned facility.



Phase 2 Diversicare Retirement Tower Construction at Duca in Progress

Fram Group on behalf of Diversicare (DCMS) is constructing a 17-Storey
Retirement Tower. Ground breaking Ceremony was held on September 13, 2010 with
Deputy Mayor Pantalone in attendance. The Architect is Arsenault Architect, withexterior design assistance by Hendrik op 't Root Architect Ltd. Phase 1 and 2
will become one building, although legally severed.

9th. Line Apartment conversion

The Council of the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville will consider an implementing By-Law adoption on October 20 2009, in order for the Owners Peter Puhl, and Leo Vanvught to convert a store into apartments, and to renovate other apartments in the complex located at the 9th. line.



Northwood Housing Developnment

Northwood Housing Developnment being re-activated by the Client Mr. Kurt Pieckenhagen. This high-end condominium project of 23 units will be submitted to the COA for approval.

Duca Scheduled to Move to New Building by Mid February, 2009

Duca scheduled to move to the new building by mid February, 2009. The furniture is scheduled to be installed next week. This will conclude Phase 1 of the Project. Phase 2 will commence thereafter by DCMS with the demolition of the old Duca building.
